An exciting and challenging opportunity is available for Stress M&T Solutions development within Airbus commercial Aircraft, joining the Structural Analysis M&T Solutions department, in Belfast.
The job holder will be part of the team in charge of defining and developing run mode as well as future Stress Tools for sizing and certification of current and next generation Airbus products, developing capabilities extensively and employing multiple structural analysis, coding & digitalization skills in a global and collaborative environment within a fully transnational team.

Tasks & accountabilities
The successful candidate main tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Contribute to the implementation of existing methods and tools applied on current airbus programs securing the required improvements in terms of performance and maintaining the business continuity.
- Contribute to the definition of new methods and tools to define, evolve and set the standard for a new sizing and optimization capabilities for future targeting significant challenges in terms of lead time and data continuity and coherency across development processes.
- Develop specific capabilities within the Stress Solver Repository in C&43;&43; and or Python in line with the ambition above.
- Ensure the implementation and integration of stress methods in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Contribute to the definition and development of next gen platform including transverse services, multidisciplinary capabilities (such design to stress for instance) and GUI.
- Follow-up and validate sub-contracted activities
Required skills
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Engineering qualification background and experience in aerospace engineering structure analysis
- Knowledge in Object Oriented Software Developments (C&43;&43;; python,)
- Software architecture knowledge will be considered as a plus.
- Knowledge on stress analysis and simulation tools (e.g. ISAMI, Hyper works, Nastran)
- Self-empowered and Team Player, strong communication skills, flexible, engaged and curious
- Fluent level of English. Other languages will be considered as a plus.
