Job Description:
Airbus Helicopters’ Software Products department is responsible for the development and integration of embedded software, implementing safety critical functionalities.
The department is involved in the development of in house solutions and is supporting the development of products developed by other internal entities or external suppliers, ensuring that the development processes follow the applicable guidelines (eg ED-12/DO-178) for civil certification.
In order to ensure this mission, we are looking for a database engineer, supporting in particular the management of system interfaces

Your challenges:
You will join a team working transversely on all helicopters developing interfaces on new or exiting systems for development.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Design our system database arhcitecture to ease integrations on our fleet, ensuring it allows to demonstrate compliance with applicable regurlations
Organize the update, with system architects, of system interfaces to integrate new features in our products
Organize the backlog of activities performed by partners
Participate in the process improvement, in particular to facilitate continuous integration of embedded systems
Perform the update asscoated with some features in the database
Your profile:
The ideal candidate has the following experience and skills:
Educated to 5 years’ degree level (or equivalent) in computer science, electronics or related discipline.
ability to manage software developments/database
Strong experience on database management
Experience with python or other scripting languages
Experience with ED-12/DO-178, DO-330 or D0-220 certification process. Other industries standards (e.g.: IEC 61508, ISO 26262, ..) may also be interresting
Experience with configuration management processes and tools (e.g. svn, git, clearcase…)
Fluent in French and English
Soft skills : Analysis skills (being able to extract main data in system/equipment documents), Capacity of abstraction, willingness to learn in order to be autonomous, Clear communication in a context of divergent/different opinions
You are also an curious team player willing to challenge the status quo, and to develop and push innovative solution.
Other experience in related domains will also be appreciated.
This includes:
Familiarity with model based development (e.g. Scade, Simulink)
Familiarity with continuous integration processes and tools (e.g: Jenkins)
Experience in simulation / modelisation
Experience working with agile methods (e.g. scrum)
