Your responsibilities will be:
- Identify, submit and implement improvement needs for the quality system and internal procedures.
- Main delegate on the internal commissions “Material Review Board” and “Safety Board”.
- Establish and lead Quality Governance (continuous improvement).
- Administrator for the “MRB Quality” delegations.
- Design and maintain the MRB QA delegation program.
- Ensure communication and awareness of regulatory requirements applicable to manufacturing processes.
- Control and follow the indicators allowing to verify the conformity of the products manufactured with the standards in force and with the procedures.
- Coordinate and facilitate the process of managing non-conformities and mishaps with the production and engineering teams and inter plan.
- Educate your peers on problem solving tools and corrective action processes.
- Facilitate and guide working groups with the investigation of quality issues using various investigation methodologies (eg RCCA, 8D, 6 Sigma).
- Represent Quality Engineering as the technical contact on advanced projects and/or programs coordinating deliverables between functional organizations
- Other related tasks.
What you need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
- Knowledge of AS9100 & TCCA Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs).
- Mastery of the scientific approach to root cause corrective action (RCCA).
- Ability to manage projects and develop effective and realistic action plans.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work as a team with partners.
- Functional knowledge in French is required.
- Functional knowledge in English is required for this position, as it involves communication in English with Bell teams outside of Quebec and/or its suppliers, partners, and clients outside of Quebec.
- Advanced project management skills
- Must be able to work with SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of Power Bl (asset).
- Skills in preparing and presenting to senior management of the organization (asset).
