Technical Knowledge and Skills:

• Skilled in the use of standard office equipment, computers, and computer software.
• Understanding of Integrated Management Systems, HSE, PI’s, emergency response plans, risk plans, risk assessment and management, Incident Reporting and investigation, Behaviour based safety.
• Expert in IOGP required safety systems such as HUMS and Flight Data Monitoring
• Expert in aircraft integrity management as applied to aviation:
• Continuing Airworthiness Maintenance Organizations and activities
• Field-based Line Maintenance
• Continuously recorded databases such as HUMS, Flight Data, Position, ECAM (Electronic Centralised Aircraft Monitor) or EICAS (Engine-indicating and Crew-alerting System)
• Maintenance Scheduling software, e.g. Traxxall, Ramco Aviation, and UpKeep. and scheduling look ahead
• Expert in ICAO Convention and application to Peruvian RAPs
• Trained in Human Factors Analysis Classification System
• Expert in all aspects of Aviation Meteorology
• Strong mathematical skills to model aviation logistics scenarios, e.g. payload, ground/airspeed, fuel burn, influence of turnaround time and/or fuelling
• Strong arithmetic and statistical skills to perform probability assessments within risk calculations logarithmic thinking, and estimation
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, both oral and written.

Experience:

• At least 5 years as commercial onshore utility helicopter pilot with Vertical Reference External Load within flying competence
• At least 5 years relevant experience in aviation safety, preferably SMS and QA experience
• At least 5 years aviation activities supporting onshore O&G and/or Mining/Exploration
• Experience with generic SMS management systems
• Experience with Standards, Procedures, and Recommended Practices (e.g., OGP, HAC, HSAC)
• HSE field experience

Education

• University Degree, preferably in sciences
• Civilian Helicopter pilot license
• Trained in aviation accident investigation and human factors analysis of aviation occurrences
