- Machine Programmer for CFRP lay-up machines as Fiber Placement and programmer for automatic fiber cutting machine and laser positioning.
Requirements:
- Advance knowledge on CATIA V5 (10 to 15 years of experience).
- Knowledge on manufacturing processes regarding CFRP structures (including sandwich structures) where manual or automatic lay-up is used.
- Experience programming lay-up machines for CFRP structures (Cincinnati Viper, Electroimpact, MTORRES or similar).
- Experience programming laser VIRTEC or similar.
- Knowledge or experience programming automatic cutting machines (GFM LEYCA or similar).
Tasks:
- AFP programming for new CFRP structures and program optimisation of the existing ones.
- Laser programming to map out required shapes in CFRP manufacturing processes.
- Support to programming activities of automatic cutting machine (GFM).
- Support to the design team in the initial phases of a product design to assure it will be able to be manufactured with given automatic means, looking for the less costly solution.
- Support on the design/use of tools to manufacture or cure CFRP structures (angular distortion analysis).
- Support to shop floor when running new programs or if there are modifications.
- Support to maintenance team for calibration and continuous improvement of laser to assist automatic/manual lay-up.
- Support to production team on cost control (SAP P11).
- Support to process/cost improvement activities regarding CFRP manufacturing processes.
- Support to document work orders for production team.
- Cost estimation for programming activities on new offers.
