• Machine Programmer for CFRP lay-up machines as Fiber Placement and programmer for automatic fiber cutting machine and laser positioning.

Requirements:

• Advance knowledge on CATIA V5 (10 to 15 years of experience).

• Knowledge on manufacturing processes regarding CFRP structures (including sandwich structures) where manual or automatic lay-up is used.

• Experience programming lay-up machines for CFRP structures (Cincinnati Viper, Electroimpact, MTORRES or similar).

• Experience programming laser VIRTEC or similar.

• Knowledge or experience programming automatic cutting machines (GFM LEYCA or similar).

Tasks:

• AFP programming for new CFRP structures and program optimisation of the existing ones.

• Laser programming to map out required shapes in CFRP manufacturing processes.

• Support to programming activities of automatic cutting machine (GFM).

• Support to the design team in the initial phases of a product design to assure it will be able to be manufactured with given automatic means, looking for the less costly solution.

• Support on the design/use of tools to manufacture or cure CFRP structures (angular distortion analysis).

• Support to shop floor when running new programs or if there are modifications.

• Support to maintenance team for calibration and continuous improvement of laser to assist automatic/manual lay-up.

• Support to production team on cost control (SAP P11).

• Support to process/cost improvement activities regarding CFRP manufacturing processes.

• Support to document work orders for production team.

• Cost estimation for programming activities on new offers.
