The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will support the manufacturing development of composite components and assemblies for Next Generation engine programs. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional area(s) of expertise and be involved in long-term planning.Job Description
Role and Essential Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the development of manufacturing processes for composite hardware.
- Lead and provide technical direction to projects with critical business impact.
- Design and develop mold tooling.
- Provide technical guidance, direction, and mentorship to new engineers in function.
- Drive rigor for documentation of projects and lessons learned.
- Make recommendations after analysis of the data using quality tools.
- Protect the Intellectual Property rights of the Company.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials Science, Chemical, or related experience) + minimum of 5 years Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials Science, Chemical, or related experience
- Must be a US Citizen
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
Desired Characteristics and Experience
- Previous experience in composites manufacturing (i.e.: Braiding technology, Ply shape development, Resin Injection Molding, Autoclave and/or press curing).
- Experience operating within Quality Systems (Ex: AS9100, NADCAP).
- Skilled in the use of CAD modeling software (Unigraphics preferred).

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
