CNC Machinist / Machine Operator – Weekend ShiftJob SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and dependable CNC Machinist / Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up machines, checking products, and keeping production running efficiently through machining areas while meeting quality and production standards.
The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC lathes and/or mills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
ScheduleWeekend ShiftPAY: $28/HRTraining ScheduleResponsibilitiesSetup and operate CNC machines, lathes, mills, and machining centers
Monitor production runs to ensure quality and efficiency standards are met
Inspect finished products using precision measuring equipment
Record production through DPI terminals and maintain accurate count cards
Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives
Support additional production responsibilities as needed, including:
Non-destructive testing
Mass finishing
Injection molding
Polishing
General cell support
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 2 years of machining experience with CNC lathes and/or mills
OR
Vocational/high school machine shop training with at least 1 year of CNC experience
Ability to perform machine setups independently
Experience using precision measuring tools including:
Micrometers
Calipers
Comparators
Indicators
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a team/cellular manufacturing environment
Ability to repeatedly lift up to 60 pounds
Preferred SkillsCNC troubleshooting experience
Knowledge of machining processes and production environments

Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
