The Program Quality Engineering Lead will provide in-depth knowledge of Quality Management System requirements to support Sustainment efforts for Proprietary Programs. They will help develop and monitor quality metrics, develop objective evidence to support customer deliverables, and support supplier activities and requirements flow down. In addition to developing and maintaining a relationship with DCMA.
This is an onsite role.
What You will Do:
- You will develop partnerships with program managers, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and functions to define steps necessary to implement Quality strategies.
- You will perform process walks and use metrics to drive quality improvements across labs and program work areas.
- You will review engineering drawings and support Engineering Review Board (ERB) / Configuration Change Board (CCB) as the quality representative.
- You will perform root cause analysis, facilitate corrective actions, and implement closed loop process controls along with continuous improvement methods.
- You will review contract deliverables and coordinate with program personnel and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) for DD250 sell-off / customer acceptance.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and five (5) years of related professional experience.
- Working experience in root cause analysis, corrective / preventive actions
- Working experience using metrics to drive action and achieve results.
- Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
- Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
- Experience in Supplier Quality Engineering.
- Certification in Six Sigma, CORE, or American Society for Quality (ASQ).

Ability to maintain additional clearances supporting Proprietary Programs.
Onsite: Employees who are working in onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
