We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Manager to lead our CNC machine shop operations and drive innovation, efficiency, and quality across all aspects of our plant.

As the Senior Manufacturing Manager, you will act as the Plant Manager for our three-shift CNC machining facility. You will oversee all facets of plant operations, from production and engineering to quality and continuous improvement. This role requires a strategic leader who can influence and inspire a team while optimizing manufacturing processes and ensuring operational excellence.

What You Will Do:

• Lead and oversee all plant operations, including production, engineering, quality, and workforce management.

• Develop and execute operational strategies to drive efficiency, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Direct scheduling and sequencing of work to optimize productivity and on-time delivery.

• Champion process improvements and manufacturing innovations, including additive manufacturing and automation.

• Manage and develop a team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and performance excellence.

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

• Leverage data-driven decision-making to enhance production capabilities and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience

• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here:  https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62 

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Manufacturing and/or machining experience preferred.

• Prior site leadership experience preferred.

• Continuous Improvement/Operational Excellence background preferred.

• Knowledge of inventory practices, production processes, quality control, costs, process improvement, and other lean techniques for maximizing the effectiveness of operations.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
