Job Summary

The Material Program Manager (MPM) is a strong leader with a demonstrated track record of delivering outstanding supply chain performance that will support the Raytheon Missiles and Defense portfolio.

What You Will Do:

  • Creating and leading the material program strategies and plans for key subcontractors

  • Driving efforts to achieve material sales goals, and delivering efficiencies to the program located in Andover, MA. 

  • Demonstrated experience in cost account management, managing budgets, earned value reporting, and managing suppliers to aggressive schedules in a matrixed environment.

  • Lead efforts, including budgeting and financial management as well as issue and conflict resolution.

  • Work with the program factories to support production requirements into executable plans with Supply Chain and our key subcontractors.

  • Influence and communicate effectively across the organization. 

  • Commitment to obtain MPM certification after experience in the role.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Master’s degree in business, Finance, Management, Supply Chain or similar

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. government issued Secret Clearance

  • Earned Value Management Experience

  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel and Power point) 

  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation), leadership abilities, and the ability to work in an IPT environment.

  • Must be a self-starter, capable of achieving organizational and program objectives, and able to interface with all levels of internal management, supplier management.

  • Must be able to succeed in the high stress, fast paced environment of development.

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to assign the appropriate priorities to the many tasks that they will be required to perform.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
