EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational aviation training preferred.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of aircraft inspection experience in a Part 145 repair station or equivalent MRO environment.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate required.
- Working knowledge of FAA regulations, FAR Parts 43 and 145, and associated guidance materials.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to read and interpret technical data, blueprints, and maintenance manuals.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools, measurement devices, and digital systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced maintenance environment.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency in using inspection tools, measurement devices, and digital systems.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Technical school or A&P certificate required.
- FAA IA Certification preferred.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Work is typically performed in hangars, shops, or on the flight line, with occasional exposure to noise, fumes, and varying temperatures.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Work may be performed on elevated platforms or confined spaces.
