Job Duties:
- Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical components and systems
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
- Identify and report any defects or non-conformities
- Maintain detailed inspection records and documentation
- Collaborate with engineering teams to address quality issues
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Inspector or similar role
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and components
- Understanding of quality control processes
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Education:
Relevant vocational qualification or apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in a mechanical inspection role
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Proficiency in using measurement tools and equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification (NVQ/C&G)
- Experience in the aerospace or aviation industry
The role is initially till December 2025 but is expected to be extended and also a possibility to become permanent. 37 hours a week plus some possibility of overtime.
