- Interpret technical manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, drawings, work instructions, maintenance requirement cards, work orders, and local procedures to plan work sequence and select appropriate tools and test instruments.
- Use common and specialized electronic test equipment such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and ALQ-99/ECASS-related test equipment.
- Support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, conditional/special inspections, WRA/SRA inspection and repair, functional checks, Technical Directive compliance/modifications, preservation/de-preservation, and ready-for-issue production objectives.
- Perform basic corrosion prevention/treatment incidental to the maintenance action, such as cleaning, treating minor surface corrosion, and supporting minor cosmetic touch-up requirements as directed by technical data and local procedures.
- For CDI-designated billets, perform or support ALQ-99 TJS inspection functions after required designation and training.
- For 2M-designated billets, perform or support Miniature/Microminiature electronics repair after required training, qualification, certification, and requalification.
- Document maintenance actions in required logs, records, forms, work orders, and electronic systems; ensure entries are accurate, timely, and traceable to the work performed.
- Comply with CNAFINST 4790.2/NAMP, NAMPSOPs, Tool Control, FOD Prevention, HAZMAT, ESD/EMI, METCAL, IMRL, 2M, Support Equipment PMS, Technical Directive compliance, corrosion control, safety, and local work-center requirements.
- Interface with the Government-operated Tool Room to issue/receive tools and maintain accountability for tools issued to contractor personnel.
- Operate Category 3 crane and ALQ-99 test equipment if assigned and properly trained/certified.
