As an A&P Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing line maintenance on various customers aircraft. The ideal candidate will possess an A&P license and have at least two years of experience, preferably with Boeing aircraft, though training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform line maintenance (on-call and scheduled) work on various customers aircraft.
- Conduct routine maintenance and airworthiness releases within scope of approval, returning aircraft to service.
- Service, inspect, and maintain aircraft, aircraft engines, and associated components to meet deadlines and performance goals.
- Troubleshoot systems; disassemble, repair, and reassemble sections and components to maintain full functioning equipment according to approved technical data.
- Ensure all departing aircraft are safe in accordance with FARs and air carrier/manufacturer manuals and all work performed is properly documented.
- Perform line maintenance duties, activities, and maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Collaborate and communicate with the air carriers maintenance control center as required.
Essential Skills- FAA Airframe & Powerplant License
- At least two years of experience, ideally with Boeing aircraft
- Must have at least six months of experience on Airbus line maintenance
- Current valid driver’s license
- Must be authorized to work in the US

Work Environment
Perform line and hangar maintenance. Work shifts are 1930 - 0730, with a rotation of four days on/three days off, then three days on/four days off. Be prepared to work near moving mechanical parts and in environments with loud noises, extreme temperatures, and weather conditions. Tools required include a line bag.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, Texas.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.00 - $38.00/hr.
