Tool Room Attendant / Inventory ClerkLocation: Whitehall, MI
Pay Rate: $17.50/hour (DOE)
Shift: 2st Shift Monday–Friday, 2:30pm -10:30pm

Position OverviewThis role functions as a tool room / parts counter attendant, similar to a parts counter at an automotive or supply store—where internal team members request materials and parts needed for their work. The primary focus is on pulling orders, organizing inventory, and supporting day-to-day material flow across multiple locations.
This is a hands-on warehouse role (no forklift required or used) and can be trained for the right candidate who demonstrates strong work history, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
This position also requires travel between four local locations during the shift, using your own personal vehicle, spending approximately two hours at each site. Full details will be discussed during the interview.
Key ResponsibilitiesOrder Fulfillment & Counter SupportPull and prepare orders for internal customers picking up materials
Verify, stage, and organize orders for pickup
Provide basic support to team members requesting parts or materials
Inventory & Stock ManagementReceive incoming materials and verify accuracy
Put away stock in proper locations within the storeroom
Maintain organized inventory and ensure materials are easy to locate
Organization & Facility SupportKeep storerooms clean, organized, secure, and safe at all times
Maintain overall organization of parts, supplies, and materials
Support basic warehouse and supply room operations
Multi-Site SupportTravel between assigned locations throughout the shift
Maintain consistency and organization at multiple storeroom sites
Work independently while staying aligned with team needs
Required QualificationsMinimum 6 months of solid tenure in most recent role
No employment gaps longer than 3 months
At least 6 months of customer service experience
Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout shift
Ability to read and understand basic work orders and instructions
Must pass a federal-level background check and drug screen (government contract—no exceptions)
Preferred QualificationsWarehouse or inventory experience
Experience in parts counter, supply room, or similar role
Basic computer/data entry experience
Ability to quickly learn product types and locations

Pay Details: $17.50 per hour
