Job Description:
Job Summary: Responsible for planning, selecting, and purchasing materials, supplies and services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Purchases materials, supplies, and services at the most favorable terms for the organization.
- Qualifies vendors, evaluates bids and negotiates prices and terms for purchased goods and services.
- Tracks purchases, monitors vendors quality, and maintains a current database
- Responsible for expediting daily repair purchasing activity, including limited price negotiation, quote approvals, and delivery schedule.
- Coordinates with Sales team to fulfil customer needs, expediting, warranty resolution, order status and other relating information.
- Responsible for compiling information and analysis as required.
- Prioritizes repair order activity in support of established business objectives.
- Expedites products/services to ensure they are delivered within schedule.
- Responsibility for non-conformance resolution.
- Initiating various shipment requests.
- Assists the relevant Repair Administrator in preparing Purchase orders if required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- At least 2-4 years of relevant experience
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Knowledge of procurement practices and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
