Essential Responsibilities

• In this role, you will:
• • Have awareness of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/ Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques.
• • Ability to write code in C (HLP) that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the .NET technology.
• • Ability to write code in VB and Python to develop test scripts and run them using the .NET technology.
• • Ability to write code in C++ and C that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the .NET technology.
• • Ability to write test procedures and requirements in DOORS platform.
• • Understand and apply the principles of OOP.
• • Understand performance parameters and can assess application performance.
• • Understand core data structures and algorithms and has the ability to implement them using .NET languages.
• • Understand low level programming and embedded software (C, Fortran).
• • Understand how compilers and linkers work.
• • Understand and handle different Operating Systems (Unix, Linux, Windows).

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with basic experience.
• Voices opinions and presents clear rationale. Uses data or factual evidence to influence.
• • Learns organization vision statement and decision making framework. Able to understand how team and personal goals/objectives contribute to the organization vision.
• • Completes assigned tasks on time and with high quality. Takes independent responsibility for assigned deliverables.
• • Has the ability to break down problems and estimate time for development tasks.
• • Seeks to understand problems thoroughly before implementing solutions. Asks questions to clarify requirements when ambiguities are present.

Desired Characteristics

• Prior work experience in an agile environment, or introductory training on Lean/Agile.
• Prior experience with scripting languages (Shell, Bash, Perl).
• Aware of and able to apply continuous integration (CI).
• General understanding of the impacts of technology choice to the software development life cycle.
