Web Designer / Developer

Job Description:

DPP is seeking a Web Designer / Developer to lead redesign efforts and support training initiatives focused on .NET Razor and Blazor frameworks.

Location: Remote; must reside in the United States
Duration: 4 months, with possibility of extension
Term: W2 position

Position overview

The Web Designer / Developer will support a public healthcare organization engaged in cancer research and clinical trial initiatives by modernizing its web presence.
This role focuses on redesigning and rebuilding existing websites using current Microsoft .NET technologies while supporting knowledge transfer to internal technical staff.
The engagement is projectbased and intended to deliver productionready, modernized web solutions within a defined timeframe.

Key responsibilities

Review and redesign existing web applications built on legacy .ASPX (.NET 4.7) frameworks.
Migrate existing websites to modern Microsoft .NET 8 and .NET 10 using Razor Pages or Blazor.
Apply modern web design and development best practices to improve usability, performance, and maintainability.
Perform development, testing, deployment, and postdeployment support activities.
Provide knowledge transfer and training to internal staff on modern .NET web development approaches.
Collaborate with a small internal IT team and business stakeholders.

Required qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
5+ years of experience with .NET.
5+ years of experience with C.
3–5 years of experience with HTML.
3–5 years of experience with CSS.
1–3 years of experience with JavaScript.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with SQL.

Additional information:

This is a timelimited contract role supporting a defined modernization initiative.
The successful candidate will balance handson development with documentation and knowledge sharing to ensure longterm sustainability of the updated web platforms.
