We have exciting opportunities in the following disciplines:
- Software Engineering in support of the Modernisation of Maritime Electronic Warfare projects that protect national security.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience working within Defence projects, preferably maritime, is desired but not essential.
- Experience working in a dynamic team to deliver outcomes to defined timelines.
- Previous experience and responsibility for making moderate improvements to processes, systems, or products to enhance performance of the work area.
- Advance knowledge of the Unified Modelling Language (UML).
- Familiarity with UML modelling tools like Enterprise Architect
- Advance knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design.
- Advance Knowledge of Agile Methodology (e.g Scrum techniques).
- Programming capability in Ada and one or more of the following languages: C++, Java or similar high level computer language.
- Advance knowledge of the Linux Operating System and command line.
- Knowledge of the following Atlassian tools: Jira, Bitbucket, and Fisheye
- Knowledge of IP networking protocols and LANs
- Previous experience performing software integration testing
- Meet the work, health, and safety requirements - both Raytheon Australia and legal standards.
The successful Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain up to a Negative Vetting Level 1 Security Clearance as needed. Eligibility can be found at http://www.defence.gov.au/agsva
