Raytheon is hiring for a Semiconductor Equipment Support Engineer assigned to 2nd shift with the hours of 1:00pm-10:30pm Monday - Friday. Candidate will be a support equipment engineer in the photolithography, metrology, and Backside work center toolsets; and work hands on in a cleanroom environment. The candidate will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of semiconductor processing equipment within the clean room environment. Supported tool sets include various OEM resist tracks and ASML steppers plus various peripheral photo equipment such as microscopes, SRD S and Ovens. This Includes high levels of experience, electrical, electro-mechanical, and gas systems typically found in a semiconductor operation. Future expansion to support a wider range of equipment is expected.
What You Will Do
- Document equipment related issues
- Diagnosis system issues based on experience and technical manuals
- Tirage down equipment and make repairs based on needs and urgency.
- Support of emergency response team (ERT).
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically require a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree.
- Experience maintaining, troubleshooting and/or repairing semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Familiar with SEMI 10 semiconductor standards
- Read and understand equipment manuals and schematics.
- Have a fundamental knowledge of SPC controls with the ability to implement SPC control plans on existing equipment and new equipment installations.
- Able to document work and provide detailed pass down.
- Ability to pull and analyze tool date.
- Experience with predictive maintenance and SPC controls using FDC software.
- Proficient use of MS Office products.

LI-ONSITE
The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
