Summary:
Perform technical evaluations of product requirements, specifications, models, drawings, and procedures.
Collaborate with engineering, program management, manufacturing, supply chain, and customer teams to ensure quality standards are met.
Lead product failure investigations, participate in Material Review Boards, and drive corrective/preventive actions.
Ensure corrective measures meet reliability standards and comply with program requirements.
Design and analyze inspection and testing processes, tools, and methods.
Conduct product quality testing and perform statistical analysis of nonconforming materials.
Evaluate internal and supplier quality systems for deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
Support supplier selection processes and maintain supplier certification programs.
Participate in internal audits and support third-party and customer audit processes.
Requirements:
Candidate must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense Secret Clearance
Bachelors degree in a related discipline, or equivalent education/experience, with at least 2 years of professional quality engineering experience.
Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical assembly operations and interpreting engineering drawings, build instructions, and process documentation.
Skilled in Root Cause Analysis techniques (e.g., DUO, Fault Tree Analysis, Fishbone Diagrams, DOE).
Experience with AS9102 First Article Inspections (FAI).
Knowledge of ISO/AS9100 standards and DoD contract requirements.
Familiarity with IPC 610/620 and J-STD-001 standards (certification preferred).
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience working with government customers and participation in government audits.
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
Ability to build relationships and collaborate with military and government customers.
Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to fast-paced environments while maintaining a focus on quality.
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
