In this role, youll play a pivotal part in designing the coordination of electrical systems integration into seats and seat components. Guide designers and draft personnel. Coordinate changes with other internal company departments, vendors, and customers. Works and makes decisions independently with little supervision. Main Function Responsibilities

A)tReads wiring schematics and system block diagrams.
B)tUnderstands basic AC/DC theory
C)tCommunicates effectively with multiple organizations including a customer on projects
D)tDemonstrates ability to troubleshoot electrical systems
E)tWorks and makes decisions independently with no supervision
F)tChecks engineering packages and generates and/or revises specifications
G)tEnsures successful completion of assigned project phases or work packages within budgeted time and cost constraints
H)tReviews specification as related to assigned job.
I)tPrepares check list.
J)tUnderstands the certification and electrical design process.
K)tPrepares lay outs.
L)tChecks all detail drawings as prepared by drafters.
M)tReviews drawing package to assure conformance to requirements.
N)tReviews completed drawings packages from peers and approves them for release.
O)tCommunicates and coordinates work with off-site engineering teams.
P)tPerforms other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

A.\tEducation & Qualification:
•\tMust have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, EET, MET, ME, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent technical degree. Minimum of 12 years equivalent related engineering experience will be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree
B.\tWork Experience - Technical knowledge:
•\tMinimum of 8 years related experience required.
C.\tProfessional Skills:
•\tCompetent user of incumbent CAD (currently Pro-E and Catia V5) and data management systems.
•\tA working knowledge of the principle of electrical installation and system integration and design
•\tAbility to understand and derive multiple customer standard electrical system requirements
•\tMust be able to provide complicated lay-outs and program design studies.
•\tMust have a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes.
•\tMust have the ability to generate written communication and to operate required office equipment.
•\tAbility to read and review written communication.
•\tSpeech and hearing abilities that allow individual to communicate clearly and distinctly in English.
D.\tBehavioral Skills:
•\tMust be able to interact successfully with engineering and manufacturing departments.
•\tMust be able to function as a leader in a design team.
E.\tDesirable Aspects:
•\tAPQP, 8D Awareness (Problem Solving Methodology)
•\tCATIA V.5 – Electrical Workbench, SmarTeam

Physical Demands: This position requires extended periods of sitting while working with computers and viewing computer monitors and other office equipment. Finger dexterity needed in using misc. office equipment such as telephone, computer and copy machine, etc. Bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to approximately twenty pounds are required during tasks related to the job

Work environment: The work environment includes office setting with moderate office noise
