Job Purpose
To create a developmental opportunity for fresh graduate engineers within the Line Maintenance department, to fulfil practical experience over a 3-year period across multiple areas, including defect control, rectification, and troubleshooting, scheduled & unscheduled maintenance, inspections & tests, as per Air Arabia standards, approved maintenance procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Key Result Responsibilities
- Carries out a program of training as agreed with the Air Arabia training Manager
- Complete OJT (On Job Training) tasks as per the training program
- Continuous engagement in personal development, undertaking such training as required by the training Manager
- Assist licensed engineers and technicians in performing scheduled & unscheduled maintenance
- Support troubleshooting, defect control, and defect rectification under supervision
- Learn and follow safety, quality, and regulatory procedures (ICAO/Local Authority)
- Maintain proper records and documentation in accordance with maintenance standards
- Perform any other duties as advised by the direct supervisor.
Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)
- Bachelors degree in Aircraft Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent from an engineering college.
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted ECAA LWTR - License for large aircraft.
- Capable of using technology systems & tools, proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Very good written and verbal communication skills: reporting, presentations, etc.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to a good standard for technical communications
