As a C-130 Aircraft Technician, you will be responsible for planning, installation, and test of aircraft modifications and other aircraft systems. You may also assist in preventive maintenance, preservation, troubleshooting, and repair of multiple aircraft systems. Responsibilities:
Plans and performs installation and test of modifications (kits), and does preventive maintenance and preservation – May assist in aircraft repairs, or kit finishing.
Inspects, tests, adjusts and certifies moderately complex assemblies, subassemblies, parts and systems for compliance with specifications and quality assurance practices, following blueprints, schematics, and inspection manuals using hand tools and precision testing equipment.
May perform mods, maintenance, or repairs by adjusting, calibrating, aligning, or modifying components using hand and power tools. Repairs or replaces defective parts.
Reviews customer specifications and related data to determine logistic needs of projects.
Applies technical knowledge of airframe, mechanical, power plant, electrical, or other systems like mission systems.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
