Electrical AssemblerJob DescriptionWe are looking to bring on 5 contract electrical assemblers to assist with a peak of work for three main lines of production and maintenance. Contractors will be involved in harness fabrication on the CH-146 Griffon Life Extension program or Bell 505/412 installation of avionic units. You will be required to perform installations on aircraft, with potential modifications or repairs on harnesses at a bench. Strong experience with crimping, routing wires, and installing connectors is essential, as well as the ability to read electrical blueprints primarily in English.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate harnesses for the CH-146 Griffon Life Extension program or Bell 505/412 avionic units.
- Perform installations on aircraft with potential modifications or repairs on harnesses at a bench.
- Crimp wires, route wires, and install connectors.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints (primarily in English).
Essential Skills- 3-5 years minimum experience in aircraft harness installation.
- Experience with crimping wires.
- Experience reading electrical plans/blueprints
Additional Skills & Qualifications- College diploma in electrical assembly.
- Experience in electrical bench assembly or on-aircraft assembly.
Work EnvironmentAssemblers will work at an electrical bench, sitting down most of the day, or installing on helicopters. The culture is very French, non-unionized but with a similar mentality. The electrical team has about 30 members, but you will work in smaller units. The dress code requires clean work clothes, an Aerotek t-shirt, jeans, safety boots, and safety glasses. Contractors will start on the day shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) and will most likely transition to the evening shift (3:30 PM - Midnight) or a 4x10 shift (3:30 PM - 2:00 AM).

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.41 - $44.35/hr.
