Your responsibilities
- Provide installation, maintenance, and general support of hardware and software
- Responsibility for supporting end users with advanced questions or problems by identifying, researching and resolving technical problems
- Support a variety of IT processes and manufacturing applications that are critical to day-to-day business operations
- Manage incidents and requests in coordination with global IT service desk, utilising ITIL foundational principles
- Manage maintenance contracts and providers of outsourced services, deploy equipment, and recommend, plan, and oversee periodic equipment refresh
- Develop training material to support process changes and new technology introductions
Who we are looking for
- A related Bachelors degree
- Experience in an IT role or related discipline
- Experience with maintenance and repair of computer hardware
- Experience in a support or service role, actively interacting with customers on a regular basis
- Someone with the ability to travel to remote locations to assist in the implementation of technical solutions, as required
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, or similar, is preferred
Ideally, you will also have
- IT Service Management ticketing tool such as ServiceNow,
- ITIL foundation
- Microsoft Certified Professional
- Micosoft Certified Solutions Expert
- CompTIA A+
