Job Description:
Based on the Airbus Helicopters Group policy and strategy:
- Sets up and control of contracts, concerning profitability, risk / opportunities and contingency assessment and management, from business case (handover) to contract / activity closing.
- Builds up, discusses and substantiates the OP / FC.
- Ensures assumptions consistency of OP / FC and validates its financial compliance.
- Controls the monthly result of related contracts / activities.
- Follows up and monitors all the parameters in connection with the business financial performance for the current year.
- Sets up and provides relevant reporting and synthesis, performance measurement, root causes for deviations and corresponding advisement and corrective actions to the Program and various stakeholders.
- Challenges all operational entities involved in the Program financial performance, internally and externally in order to trigger corrective and improvement actions.
- Follows-up & challenges the Program related contracts profitability (EAC / CTC).
- Assists Program managers for the EAC / CTC management including workload plan.
- Monitors actual costs vs planned costs, providing sensible feedback and advisement to the corresponding program / activity manager.
- Builds up, discusses and substantiates all the business cases needed (offers, improvement projects, developments,...). Ensures assumptions and results coherence so that eventually provides financial validation.
Manages the CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION processes since the contract signature up to the invoicing and payment:
- Ensures the monthly and year-end-closing including all necessary provisions and documentation for the auditors.
- Builds up Forecast on the contract administration perimeter and warns about the trends and deviations, acting accordingly.
- Sets up and ensures adequate contract provisions are implemented for risk avoidance / mitigation during contract execution.
- Monitors prices evolution and updates contract conditions accordingly.
Supports the BID COSTING AND PRICING processes:
- Supports, at the required extent, the biding and contracting process, back office and direct negotiation with customers when required.
- Ensures quotations are consistently supported by feasible assumptions.
- Builds up costing rationales and validates associated business cases.
- Develops business modelling and pricing strategy.
- Ensures identified risks are correctly assessed and corresponding provisions are considered to cover associated contingencies and to mitigate / avoid those risks.
Professional Experience: > 5 years in Finance with at least 3 years in controlling.
Academical backgorund:
University Degree in Economics.
University Degree in Business Administration.
Industrial Engineer (plus MBA)
Industrial Organization Engineer
